Registration Marks For Layering In Cricut
Insert your image. Using the shape tool, make a small square. Duplicate. Line up and attach squares.
1
Duplicate the squares for as many layers there are in your image.
2
Place one set of squares slightly above or below your image. Select the squares and your top layer.
3
Select edit and then change the color to the main color of that layer.
4
Slide the next set of squares on top of the first set.
5
In the layers panel select your next layer and the set of squares you just placed. Attach. Color.
6
If your next set (or any set) of squares disappear behind the others, use edit to bring to front.
7
Slide the next set of squares over. Attach to the next layer. Use “edit” to change the color.
8
Repeat until done with all of your layers.
9
You should have as many mats as layers along with your registration squares at the top of each.
10
We’ll go through actually layering the vinyl in the next video.
