Roasted Spiced Chickpeas (Oil Free)
Preheat the oven to 350F, then drain a 15 oz can of chickpeas with a strainer.
Use water to thoroughly rinse the chickpeas.
Spread out the chickpeas on a towel and dry gently.
If desired, remove the skin on the chickpeas. This isn’t necessary but it will help them crisp up.
Once dried, put them in a bowl and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of Himalayan sea salt. Stir to combine.
Spread chickpeas on a parchment lined baking sheet & bake for 30-40 mins. Shake pan every 10 mins.
Add 1 tsp of seasoning combo in last 10 mins (cumin, curry powder, & smoked paprika shown here).
Remove from oven and let cool before serving. Store in uncovered container to retain crispness.
