Sewing Table Makeover
Before . Simple brown table with no machine. Even better ..
1
I took the machine hardware out as it wasn’t needed now.
2
Then sanded the table, cleaned with white lightning and added a woodubend keyhole mould.
3
I put some gorilla wood glue and secured the top with screws and nails from under.
4
And after a few hours the top was firm and secure and ready to be painted.
5
I painted in it Dixie Belle cobalt blue with a “damp”brush. I did 3 coats in total
6
Now staining the top .no pain gel stain and applicator pad
7
I applied first coat of stain on a sanded top and left it to dry overnight.
8
Then a second coat so that it covers the original wood color and looks even.
9
After two coats of stain and two clear coat(satin).
10
I sealed the table in 2 clear coats (satin) from Dixie Belle paints
11
added a portion of “flower collector” transfer from redesign with Prima on the back of the table.
12
sealed it in 2 coats of Dixie Belle clear coat(satin) just like the whole table.
13
And the final piece is ready..!!
14
Thanks for watching ..xoxo jo.
