Mix 8 Tablespoons of butter on medium to soften

Add 1 egg and mix, stopping to scrape out the whisk the sides of bowl

Add in Pamela’s Sugar Cookie Mix in small batches

Scrape down sides of bowl and mix again until the dough is fully combined with no crumbs left

Lay out a fondant mat or plastic wrap to roll out your sugar cookies

Sprinkle your mat and dough with powdered sugar and roll out to 3/8” thickness

Cut out your shapes (you can use excess dough and re-roll, but more than once and you risk quality)

Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet (use spatula if cookies are sticking)

Refrigerate for an hour or freeze for 20 minutes (this helps prevent cookies from spreading)

Optional: make snickerdoodles by topping with cinnamon and sugar

Bake at 350F for 8-12 minutes and let cool before enjoying!
