Brown 1 pound ground beef.
1
Shred cheese (I used cheddar). I probably used 5-6 ounces.
2
Once beef is cooked through, add taco seasoning packet or 2 tbsp homemade.
3
I add a little tomato paste.
4
And 2 tbsp water.
5
Using 2 tubes of crescent rolls, form ring with wide ends.
6
I used my roller to help them stick together and flatten the surface a bit.
7
Scoop ground beef onto ring.
8
This is probably 3/4 pound. I saved the rest to eat another day.
9
Sprinkle cheese on top of meat, saving some for later.
10
Tuck pointy ends into the middle. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
11
If you can get them, use refrigerated breadsticks to make the legs! My store didn’t have them.
12
I used a sheet of crescent, cut into 8 strips, rolled them a little and made these Vs.
13
Brush with 2 tbsp of melted butter. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
14
I added the rest of the cheese to the top with 10 minutes left. Could probably have done it earlier.
15
Add sliced olives for eyes and tuck the legs in to the gaps between sections.
16
The crescent dough for the legs was too soft and they did not want to stand up. Use breadsticks.
