Blend until smooth and set aside.

Then, sauté chopped onion with vegan butter.

Add harissa seasoning.

Toss to coat, and cook broccoli until just tender. Then, remove the veggies to a plate.
Add cashew mixture to the same pan.

Heat over medium-low heat and stir continuously.

The sauce will slowly begin to thicken. Keep stirring!
It will soon become thick and creamy, just like regular mac and cheese.

Add cooked pasta gradually and stir.

Add remaining pasta and stir until fully coated.
Add macaroni to bowls and top with veggies.
