Begin your trip by exploring the valley. Head toward the Awahnee Lodge for a fantastic lunch. Watch for bears and deer that frequent the area!
As you enter the valley floor, take a look at El Capitan - the hit of the movie Free Solo
Check out the many waterfalls (Bridal Veil Falls is spectacular and can be seen from the road)
Drive all the way up to Glacier Point overlook for views of the iconic half dome face and see each aspect of Yosemite Valley from 7,000 feet!
If you’re feeling brave, hike to the top of this iconic Half Dome granite face: 16 miles 4800 feet
Don’t forget to sign up for a permit on - it’s necessary to carry a permit in order to complete the hike!
Make your way to the other side of the park. On the way, stop at Tunnel View overlook which has incredible valley views!
Did you know you can snowboard and ski in the park? Visit the Badger Pass ski area!
Ski or snowboarding... make sure to carry chains in your car! It’s required from Nov to Mar every year!
Continue south and Check out the Mariposa Sequoia grove! The trees are absolutely massive.
If you visit in the summer, head up to Tuolome Meadows. This offers backcountry hiking and less crowded views of this epic park!
