Traditional English Scones
Cut up cold butter and add to flour

Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour

Go lightly! It should look a bit like breadcrumbs

Add in sugar and salt

Now use a knife to mix in the milk

Go slowly, little by little

As the dough begins to form, bring it together with your hands

Now roll it out on a floured surface

Use a pastry cutter to cut out circles. Bake in oven for around 12 minutes

Serve with cream and jam!
