“Whatever You’ve Got” Stir Fry

Heat your pan over medium heat. Then add 1 tbsp oil.

Add in your protein of choice

Cook your protein to a safe internal temperature

Remove cooked protein from the pan and put it in a separate bowl

Add another 1 tbsp oil to your pan. Add 2 tbsp each diced garlic, onion, and ginger

Add firmer veggies first (cabbage, broccoli, carrots, celery, etc.)

Mix in 1/2 cup broth (or water), 3 tbsp soy sauce, and 2 tbsp hoisin sauce

Optional add ins: sesame oil or fish sauce

Stir to combine and cook for about 5 minutes, or until your veggies soften

Add in softer veggies (like canned or thawed veggies) and cook for 2-3 minutes

Make the slurry. Stir together 1/2 cup cold broth (or cold water) with 2 tbsp corn starch

Add the slurry to your pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until mixture thickens.

Add the cooked protein back to your pan, and mix it all together

Serve it over rice, noodles, quinoa, or starch of choice

Enjoy! Try adding fresh herbs, hot sauce, sliced green onions, or sesame seeds on top.
