Soak rice for an hour

Give a 3 boil to dry fruits. Drain out the water. Peel of the skin and keep aside

In water add cardamom, clove, cinnamon stick, food colour, boil rice to 3/4 cooked Aik kani chor ker

Drain out the water from rice and keep aside. The process should be fast now.

Add ghee, cardamom roast for a minute or so, until fragrant.

Add dry fruits and fry for a few sec add sugar mix. Add rice and give it a good mix. Cover for 1 min

After 1 min uncover and give a good mix with a light hand. Keep the heat to high

With a very light hand pick the rice from the edges and put on one side till the water dries up.

Once the water dries up add kerwa essence. Cover with a cloth and put rice on dum (steam) for 20 min

After 20 mins uncover, with the help of folk mix rice and let it be uncovered so rice get dry by air
